William “Ray” Whitlock 44, of Henrico, passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at his home.
Ray was preceded in death by his father, Roger Dale Whitlock. Ray leaves behind his mother, Martha Whitlock, and sister Rachel Whitlock(Chris); nephew Thomas Jackson; niece Layla Whitlock; and many countless friends and family members.
He worked for the City of Richmond, DPU for many years. Ray was a family man, he loved his family more than anything but most of all his niece and nephew. Many people who knew Ray knew that he was the humblest, loving, and caring person and those are just a few of the things that will be missed the most. Ray was the brightest shining light and we know that shining light will shine on in our hearts for years to come. He lived every day with no regrets and when it was time for him to be called home, he left us all with the knowledge to live every day as if it was your last. He will be dearly missed by all that loved and knew him.
