William David Bradshaw II, born November 9, 1972, passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2024.
William fondly known by Bill, was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He was born to William Bradshaw and Barbra Belvin November 9, 1972, in Portsmouth Virginia.
Bill spent the majority of his life in his chosen hometown of Cleveland Ohio. This is where he found his love for all things Cleveland. As an avid sports fan you would not catch him in anything other than Browns, Indians, or Ohio state gear, and yelling “OH” in any public place to see if he had friends around. All though his heart will always be in Cleveland, Bill moved to Richmond Virginia to be closer to his children. Where he would still yell “OH”, even louder if it would embarrass his kids, because it did not matter what state he was in it was Ohio or nothing. He was a one of a kind person who was the most loyal, loving, frustrating, give you the shirt off of his back kind of guy. He had an infectiously charismatic personality that made it hard to ever stay mad at him.
Bill could be defined as the jack of all trades, there was never anything he could not figure out. Whether it be listening to a song and knowing how to play it, or finding a problem with a vehicle and just figuring out how to fix it, even if there were some curse words involved. He was an extremely talented hard working man who did not believe in ever giving up, and instilled those values in his children. Bill enjoyed playing/writing music, music production, video editing, computer building, and anything sports-related just to name a few.
Bill is survived by his three children, Jessica Lovern and husband Jonathan Lovern, and their daughter Lorelei; Devon Bradshaw and his wife, Mikayla Bradshaw, and Avery Bradshaw; his three brothers, Joshua Belvin and wife Karen Belvin, son Noah Belvin; Jesse Belvin and wife Tiffany Belvin, and Aaron Belvin and wife Paige Belvin, son Ethan Belvin; his mother, Barbra Belvin and step-father Bobby Belvin. Bill is preceded in death by his father, William David Bradshaw I.
Above all, Bill adored his family and friends. On a Saturday you could catch him at his son Devon’s football game, coaching his daughter, Jessica, in softball, and teaching his daughter Avery all about music and computer building. If there was a family event, he would drop it all to be there. On Sundays, you’d always find him in the Moose Lodge with his large group of friends watching the game or throwing darts. He would make every family gathering, cookout, or even just a hangout exciting and make sure no one was bored or not having a good time. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
A celebration of life is planned for 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at Tuckahoe Moose Lodge #1163 Ballroom, 4366 Springfield Road, Glen Allen, VA 23060. The family would like to invite anyone who knew Bill to attend. And in true Bill fashion we encourage you to wear your best Cleveland Browns gear.
