Wayne "Joe" Bell, of Sandston was called home to our Lord on February 27, 2023. Joe was born on July 27, 1940.

He is preceded in death by both parents, Richard and Marion Bell and two loving wives, Frances Bell and Judy Bell. He is survived by his son, Jeffrey Bell (Susan); daughter Tracy Bell Bowman; Holly Williams (Steve) and Lewis Cable (Teresa); ten grandchildren, Joseph Bell (Brittany), Jacob Bowman, Joshua Bell (Collin), Jessica Bowman, Tyler Williams (Amanda), Taylor Williams, Trevor Williams, Kerri Ragsdale (Jake), Chandler and Savannah Cable; and seven great grandchildren.

Joe was a one-of-a-kind individual with an infectious laugh. He had a incredible love of family, old cars and history. He and his first wife Frances started Joe Bell Floor Sanding in 1960 and it remained in operation until he retired in 2006. Joe was member of Emmaus Baptist church for many years and a member of the Rods R Us car club. He enjoyed restoring old cars and just tinkering around his garage. Special thank you to our cousin, Pansy Lathrop who has been by our side through this last week and all our family and friends for all their love and support during this time.
