Virginia “Ginger” Inez Kirby, 59, of Henrico, VA, passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2024, after a long battle with COPD, surrounded by her family.

Ginger was born August 18, 1965, in Jacksonville, Florida. Ginger was also a long-time resident of Georgia before moving back to Virginia. She was an active member of Passion Community Church in Aylett, VA. Ginger loved to care for others. Her love for a great Temu find was sure to mean you received something she picked out just for you. She loved God, loved her family, and loved animals. Ginger was known for never missing a birthday or Christmas card for her family. She always made sure that these were sent out and she reminded you to look for them in the mail.

Remaining to cherish Ginger’s memory are her brothers, William Campbell, Jr.(Brenda), Robert Campbell (Jennifer); her sister, Teresa Harris; nieces, Michelle Johnson (Kenny) and Chelsea Tennyson (Jimmy); and nephew Sam Harris, Jr. (Carolann); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Hunter Johnson, Chloe Tennyson, Charleigh Tennyson, and Jack Tennyson; along with countless other family, friends and extended loved ones. Preceding Ginger in death are husband, Mike Williamson; parents, William and Charlotte Campbell; niece Betsy “Candy” Evans; and nephew William “Buggy” Campbell, III.

A memorial service will be held at Noon on Saturday, September 7 at Passion Community Church, Aylett located at 753 Richmond Tappahannock Hwy., Aylett, VA 23009.

The family would also like to thank the staff at Memorial Regional Medical Center for their thoughtfulness and attentiveness during her illness and death.
