Virginia Gorman Olive, 96, of Henrico, Virginia departed this life on June 14. Mrs. Olive was preceded in death by her husband, Louis T. Olive, Sr., after 59 years of marriage; brother, Stuart Ray Gorman. Virginia retired from St. Mary’s Hospital after 18 years of service as Staffing Coordinator. She is survived by her son, Louis “Tim” Olive, Jr. and his wife, Yvonne; two granddaughters, Stephanie Olive Guerra (Troy), Laura Richards Banu (Chris) and their mother Linda Olive; three great-grandchildren, Thomas, Allison and Megan Richards. Virginia was a member of the Catholic Golden Age, Belmont Travelers, Belmont Wednesday Bridge Group, and Thursday and Sunday Bridge Groups. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at Bliley’s, 8510 Staples Mill Road. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at Bliley's, 8510 Staples Mill Road. Interment will be private.
