Obituary - Virginia Constance Beatty

Virginia Constance Beatty, 77, of Highland Springs, passed away on Wednesday, February 16, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Robert Joseph Beatty Jr.
Connie worked for Bellwood Defense General Supply and was a member of Highland Springs United Methodist Church. Family was Connie’s main priority and she absolutely adored children and cats. She was very active in her community, belonging to various organizations, including: Sandston Women’s Club, Lady of the Moose, Elks, Samis Grotto, Richmond AACA Car Club and Highland Springs Leisure Club.
Left to cherish her memory are her brother, Ed Melton (Cheryl); as well as a large extended family and numerous friends.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, February 23, at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231, where a funeral service will be held at 12 noon on Thursday.
Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
