Obituary - Theo Sakellariou

Theo Sakellariou, 77 of Henrico, passed away on April 23, 2023. He was born in Athens, Greece and immigrated to the United States in 1973 with his wife Philio, both becoming US Citizens. An entrepreneur at heart, he owned his own cabinetry business for the better part of 35 years. He loved his wife, his children and his grandchildren. He enjoyed cooking, tinkering around the house and enjoyed working in the yard. Theo had to overcome many health obstacles but always persevered and remained active.

Theo, was preceded in death by his parents, Apostolos Sakellariou and Demitra Sakellariou. Theo is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Philio Sakellariou; his children Paul (Dawn) Sakellariou and Angelo (Anna) Sakellariou; four loving grandchildren: Katerina, Alex, Mia and Luke; and two sisters, Koula Sinapi and Theresia Sakellariou.

Visitation will be at 10am with a memorial service to follow at 11am on Friday, April 28th at St. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 30 Malvern Ave, Richmond, VA 23221. In Leu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to St. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Cathedral.
