Sybil Kay Shaffer, 78, of Sandston, went to be with the Lord Sunday, September 22, 2024. She is survived by her husband, Billy; one son; three grandchildren; a sister; brother; as well as a niece, a nephew, and extended family.
Service will be held 11 am Monday, September 30, 2024 at the Mechanicsville Chapel of the Bennett Funeral Home, 8014 Lee-Davis Rd. Graveside committal services will be held 1 pm Tuesday, October 1, 2024 in Hillcrest Memory Gardens, Jeffersonton, VA (Culpeper County). The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 4600 Cox Rd, Glen Allen, VA 23060 or alz.org.
