Stuart E. Chronister, 79, of Sandston, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, February 28, 2024.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Helen League Chronister.
Left to cherish his memory are his son, Michael S. Chronister; nephews and nieces, Mike Mojica (Marsha), Susan Jones (Wayne), Leslie Anne Kelley, R.J. League, Tori Hart, Austin Shakespeare; as well as a host of extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 5, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231.
Inurnment of Stuart and Helen will be held at a later date in Amelia Veterans Cemetery.
