Steven Christopher Flores, 44, of Glen Allen, left this world too soon on September 8, 2022. He was preceded in death by his mother, Maria Flores and daughter, Emma Anne Flores. He is survived by his wife, Courtney Noel Flores; son, Aidan Anthony Flores; son, Colin Grae Flores; father, Ismael Flores; brother, Tony Flores; sister, Dionne Zynmerski; sister, Carmen Pritchard; and extend family and friends.

Steven was born and raised in Buffalo New York and was employed by Ford Motor Company for 10 years. He relocated to Henrico County, VA where he graduated from the 50th Henrico County Police Academy, and he remained a police officer for nearly 14 years and achieved the rank of Corporal.

Years prior to his passing, Steven graduated from American Military University with a Bachelors in Science in Criminal Justice. He graduated from Grand Canyon University in 2020 with a Master’s Degree in Human Factors Psychology. At the time of his passing, Steven was enrolled at Grand Canyon University and was halfway through his completion of a Ph.D. in psychology.

Steven will always be remembered for his sense of humor, love of cruising and Disney World. Steven lived his life to the fullest and will forever be loved and missed by those who loved him.

Steven’s family and friends will be received at Bliley’s – Central, 3801 Augusta Ave., Saturday, September 17, 2022 from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM. Funeral Services will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 9505 Gayton Rd., Sunday, September 18, 2022 at 3:30 PM.
