Sterling Neblett Jr, of Richmond, passed away peacefully on March 3, 2025, at age 86.

He was preceded in death by his father, Sterling Neblett, Sr, and his mother Hester Neblett (Deel). He is survived by his sister, Sally Baskerville Neblett.

Sterling was a graduate of John Marshall H.S Corps of Cadets, Company B. Class of 58. He retired from the Henrico County Fire Dept after 20 years of service. He was the co-founder of Civil War Hanover Gray’s Skirmish Team which he was a member of for 58 years.

The family will receive friends from 11am -12pm on Saturday, March 22, 2025, with a service to be held at Woody Funeral Home Huguenot Chapel at 12pm, with a reception to follow.

The family would like to thank all caregivers who watched over him for the last few years and especially to Dr. Jerome Daniels who cared for him his whole life, and to the Stan Tinsley family for their unwavering support of us.
