Shirley Ann Gallahan Perry, 85, passed into Glory with her Lord Sunday April 18th 2021. She is preceded in death by her husband Charles Holland Perry Jr and daughters Shirley and Sandra Perry. Parents Roland and Lottie Gallahan. Sisters Dorothy Griffin, Charlotte Lochmiller, and Rose Loomis.

Originally from Highland Springs, Virginia, she married Charles Holland Perry Jr of Bedford, Virginia September 4, 1954. As a young Army bride she traveled the globe learning international cuisine cooking skills. She was a dedicated and loving mother, wife, daughter and grandmother. She left a legacy of heartfelt love that she shared with the love of Jesus and her commitment to Him and His work. She was a mother to many including cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. She never knew a stranger and would walk up to anyone in the grocery store and start speaking about her love for Jesus. She was a witness of His precious love for us everywhere she went.

She leaves behind her son Charles Holland Perry III of Plant City, Florida. Daughter Victoria Perry Held of Mechanicsville, Virginia. Grandchildren Jeannette, Jason, Kyle, Bridget and Brianna. Siblings Betty Lou Durvin, Nancy Powells and Roland Gallahan plus many nieces and nephews.

She will be buried at the Hampton National Cemetery alongside her husband Charles Holland Perry Jr and her daughters Shirley and Sandra Perry. A private graveside service will be held at Hampton National Cemetery.
