Obituary - Ruth Lightfoot

Ruth Lightfoot, 97, of Sandston, passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband, Goodrich; and her granddaughter, Tina. She is survived by her devoted daughter, Evelyn. She was the last surviving member of a family of 11. The best way to describe her personality is a spitfire with a heart of gold. Ruth loved life and she loved flowers. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 12th at the Bennett Funeral Homes Mechanicsville Chapel, 8014 Lee Davis Rd., where a 10 a.m. funeral will be held on Wednesday, July 13th. Interment Will Follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
