Obituary - Ruth Ann Burner Feather

Ruth Ann “Her-Her” Burner Feather, 80, born June 19th, 1943, in Frank, West Virginia, entered her heavenly home, Monday, November 27, 2023.

Ruth was preceded in death by her father, Forrest Hull Burner, and mother, Grace Ellen Heavner Burner. She is survived by he loving husband of 62 years, Carl “Chick” Feather, daughter, Susan Feather Godwin (Brad), son, Timothy Allen Feather (Wendy); grandchildren, Tyler Godwin (Megan), Chase Godwin (Kristina), Robbie Godwin, Haley Marchetti (Caleb), Hannah Feather Gross (Corey), Bryce Feather; great grandchildren Colt, Sebastian, Kora, Archer, Cade, Kena, Millie; sister, Patsy Burner Sacks, brother, Wallace “Corkie” Burner (Loretta), and a host of nieces and nephews.

Ruth was a school bus driver for the Henrico County School system for 50 years. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, and a member of the Tuckahoe Moose Lodge #1163. Ruth was an avid supporter of Central Virginia Slow Pitch Softball and could be found most weekends enjoying yard sales.

Ruth will be remembered fondly by her friends and family for her good nature and generous spirit. All those that were fortunate enough to have been a part of her life will miss her bubbly personality and great sense of humor.

Donations can be made in her honor to American Diabetes Association or American Heart Association.
