Obituary - Robert P. Krause Jr.

Robert P. ‘Bob’ Krause, Jr., 85, of Henrico, VA passed away on Friday, February 16, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert P. Krause, Sr. and Rosamond A. Krause (nee) Mathews. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Sharon L. Krause (nee) Slosson; son, David M. Krause (Allison) of Ashland, VA; his daughter, Judy A. Krause (Adrian) of New York, NY; three grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. Bob was born in Syracuse, NY and graduated from Central High School. He graduated with a degree in engineering and later obtained an MBA from Syracuse University. Bob served in the U.S. Army as a 2nd Lieutenant at Fort Sill, Ok and Fort Dix, NJ. Bob dedicated 27 years to his career as a Quality Control Engineer with Carrier Corp. in Syracuse. Bob enjoyed playing fast pitch softball in the Syracuse Rec League for many years. He also enjoyed golf trips to Cheraw, SC and traveling with family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am on Friday, March 1 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 9505 Gayton Rd.
