Robert Mason Wood, 22, of Richmond VA passed away on January 11, 2022 from Burkitt’s Lymphoma. Mason was born in Richmond, VA on July 21st, 1999. He graduated from Highland Springs High School and was a proud member of the Marching Battalion. He attended Norfolk State University and was a member of the Spartan Legion. He worked at the Ridge Kroger for the last three years. Mason is survived by his parents: Katie and Charles Troy and Peter Douglas Wood; his sister: Alexis Troy; his grandparents: Terry and Mike Jones; Judy Parson; Jerry Parsons; Kay and Philip Wood; Tricia and Richard Harwood; Chuck and Pam Troy; his aunts and uncles: Betsy Lacy; Pat Lacy; Bobby and Heather Harwood; Michelle and Randy Green; Elaine and Aaron Allen; Mary Troy; Adrian and Andrew Landrum; Robin Benitez; Lori and Jesus Santiago; Amy Roper; Philip Wood Jr.; Patrick Wood; his cousins: Patrick Lacy; Grace Davis; Breanna Green; Michael, Tyler, Indiya, and Cabell Harwood; Asa, Troy, Cora, Silas, and Vera Allen; Angelica and Christian Benitez; Hope Tommy Huddleston; Miguel and Joseph Santiago; Adam Basham; his girlfriend Ryn Williams; his half-sister Skully Wood and many other family members, friends, and co-workers. Mason is preceded in death by his grandmother Tinsley Watt Harwood and great-grandmothers Dot Anderson and Alice Troy.

The funeral service will be held at 2pm on Thursday, January 20 at Woody Funeral Home at 1771 North Parham Road, Richmond VA 23229. Jason Callahan will be officiating.
