Robert L. Faunce, 82, of Richmond, VA, departed this life on September 27, 2023.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Linda Chambers Faunce, and sister, Barbara Venable. He is survived by his sister, Joan Faunce, sister-in-law, Betty Chambers, his daughter, Angela Faunce Leaf, son-in-law Christian, and grandchild Fig.
He was an avid golfer at Stonehenge Golf & Country Club for many decades. After a long career in life insurance, he and his wife Linda opened the Wild Bird Center in Gayton Crossing Shopping Center, serving bird lovers for over 10 years, before retiring for more golf.
A celebration of life will be held at Woody Funeral Home, 1771 North Parham Road, Richmond VA, on Thursday November 2 at 2 pm in the afternoon. Interment will be private at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Audubon Society.
