Brewster, Robert “Bob” Ayden, II, 80, of Henrico, VA, passed away on November, 11, 2022. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Anne Grappone Brewster; his son’s Robert A Brewster, III (Jennifer Brewster) and Christopher A. Brewster; daughter, Mary Beth Dawson; grandson, Matthew A. Dawson and granddaughter, Kelsey N. Brewster.
He graduated from the University of Richmond with a BA degree in History and played right field for the Richmond Baseball Team. He was a loyal fan of all Spider sports.
He spent his career at Phillip Morris, retiring after 25 years in 1999 and then became a Henrico County substitute teacher. A champion of the environment, he was elected in 1990 to the Henricopolis Soil and Water Conservation Board and served as a Board Member until 2016. Bob was also a long time member of the Wilson Hunt Club in Amelia, VA.
The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 8 pm. on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at Bliley’s –Staples Mill, 8510 Staples Mill Rd., Henrico, VA 23228, where a chapel service will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2022 at 11 am. Interment to be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Hospital.
