Rex Allen Carder, 70, of Highland Springs, passed away Thursday, May 30, 2024. He was preceded in death by his father, George J. Carder and is survived by his wife of 51 years, Peggy Diane Carder; two sons, John Carder (Heather) and Jason Carder; two grandchildren, Taylor and Cayden Carder; mother, Julia Marie Walker; sister, Carolyn Folk; brother, Francis Carder; four-legged son, Chico; as well as nieces, nephews, and extended family. Rex spent over 40 years in the printing industry, retiring from Colortree of Virginia. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, June 2, 2024 at the Mechanicsville Chapel of the Bennett Funeral Home, 8014 Lee-Davis Rd. Interment will be private.
