Ray Howard Jr., 79, of Sandston, passed away on Friday, September 15, 2023.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Connie Howard; daughter, Vickie Ellis; and beloved dog, Gizmo.
He enjoyed going to the VFW to be with his friends, Nascar, fishing, baseball, football, and above everything else spending time with his family.
He is survived by his loving daughter, Dee Dee Howard; loving granddaughters, Jessica Pruitt and Rebecca Worsham; loving grandson, Timothy Broyles; great grandchildren, Kinsely and Jameson Broyles.
The family will receive friends from 12pm to 2pm on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, VA 23231. A graveside service will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, September 22, 2023 at Washington Memorial Park, 6217 Memorial Dr., Sandston, VA 23150.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Sandston VFW Post 8529, 1501 E Old Williamsburg Rd., Sandston, VA 23150.
