Obituary - Phyllis Mae Perross

Phyllis went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, January 12, 2025, at the beautiful age of 93. She is preceded in death by her father, Joseph E. Perross; mother, Laura D. Perross; sisters, Muriel L. Perross and Patricia P. Morris. She is survived by her niece, Laura Jo Pike, as well as many loving cousins.
Phyllis was an active member of Laurel Presbyterian Church. She started working for Prudential beginning at age 16, and after retirement at, Presbytery of the James, she was a volunteer Candy Striper at St Mary’s Hospital, for many years.
A service will take place at Laurel Presbyterian Church, 9675 Staples Mill Rd, on Monday, January 20, at 2:30 p.m. A procession will leave from Bliley’s – Staples Mill on Tuesday, January 21, at 2:30 p.m. for interment at Forest Lawn Cemetery beginning at 3:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, consider making donations to the Alzheimer’s Association or to Laurel Presbyterian Church.
