Pendleton Kay “P.K.” Walker of Henrico, passed on May 7, 2022, one day shy of his 90th birthday. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Crews Walker; son, Douglas Kay Walker and five brothers and sisters. He is survived by his son, John Richard Walker “Rick” and his wife, Susan Walker; his daughter-in-law, Debra Walker; granddaughter, Karen W. Seward and her husband, John Seward; great-grandson, Jay Seward, and numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

P.K. served proudly in the US Army as a tank driver during the Korean War, and upon returning home graduated from RPI (VCU). He was an accountant for Honeywell Controls and Robertshaw Controls for many years until he retired. In his retirement he and Shirley traveled the world. He was a long-time member of Lakeside United Methodist Church.

P.K.’s funeral service will be held at Bliley’s, 8510 Staples Mill Road, at 12 p.m. on Thursday, May 12, 2022, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Lakeside United Methodist Church, 2333 Hilliard Road, Henrico, VA 23228.
