Obituary - Peggy Jane Carson Jack

Peggy Jane Carson Jack, 83, of Richmond, went to be with the Lord December 19, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilfred Jack; and her pawed friends, Pixie, Bozo, Monty, Jeffy, Jinny, Emily and Angus. She is survived by her feline companion, Chico; and her many friends. Peggy graduated from Central High School and from College of Ozarks in Missouri in 1961. She married Wilfred that same year and moved to northern Va. then to Richmond. She was a lifelong member of Cambridge Baptist Church where she served in many roles. Peggy was a friend, sister in heart and mother to many of all ages. With a humble heart, she shared a walk in faith in all she did and to all those she met. Her gift of writing letters, sharing words of encouragement and guidance made one feel like you were the only person in the world, a true connection of the heart. Her dedication to serving and loving was evident all of her life as a generous and faithful Proverb 31 woman. In all her occupations from Confectionery & Baking in Missouri, to medical related jobs in Virginia, she met and cherished friends that became her family. Her passion as a Unit Secretary at INOVA Fairfax Hospital and Henrico Doctors Hospital brought her such joy. She cherished her animals, especially her kitty cats. Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 27 in Greenwood Memorial Gardens, 12609 Patterson Ave.
