Obituary - Pauline McMahon Sorensen

Pauline M. Sorensen, 90, of Highland Springs, passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2024. She was an administrative assistant at St. John’s Catholic Church where she was a member for many years.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Marie Florida McMahon; father, Frederick McMahon; sister, Barbara Fitzgerald; and brother, Paul McMahon.
She is survived by her children, Steven M. Sorensen (Bobbie), Timothy W. Sorensen (Crystal), Michael B. Sorensen (Ann) and Christopher A. Sorensen (Anne); seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and sister, Sally Adkins.
The family will receive friends Monday, February 26, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, VA 23231.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, February 27, at 10 a.m. at St. John’s Catholic Church, 813 W. Nine Mile Rd., Highland Springs, VA 23075.
Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
