Paul Cosmo Spadaro, age 90, of Richmond, Virginia passed away on Friday, October 7, 2022. Paul was born October 18, 1931.
He is preceded in death by his beloved Wife of 52 years, Jean Spadaro. His two Brothers, Sister, and two of his Children also precede him.
He is survived by his Son, John Spadaro (Patti); Daughter, Jeanne Higginbotham (Gary); Five Grandchildren, Elaina, Angelo, Tyler, Alison, and Kaylee. Great-Grandchild, Vann; and two Sisters, Grace Farran and Rita D'Amico.
Paul worked for the United States Dept. of Defense in the Navy as an electrical engineer for many years. In his younger years he served the nation in the Army during the Korean War. He also enjoyed going to his church, St. Ann's Catholic Church located in Ashland VA.
A private service will be held on a later date.
The family wishes to extend a special recognition to St Mary's Woods and to Home Care Hospice. They also express immense gratitude to Nurse Beth for the compassion and support she provided.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Paul's honor to St. Mary's Woods Retirement community or to St Ann's Catholic Church of Ashland.
