Olive White Wyman, 95, of Sandston, Virginia passed away Saturday, July 8, 2023 surrounded by her loved ones.
She was preceded in death by her husband Wallace W. Wyman, Sr.
She is survived by her children, Christy W. Watts, Wally Wyman (Maria); beloved grandchildren, Justin Wyman (Megan) and Jessica Wyman (Colin); and one great-grandchild, Harrison Wyman who she adored; one nephew, Buck Williams (Anita); and two nieces, Betty Jo Hall (Todd) and Vickie Corley (Eddie).
Ollie was the matriarch of an extended family and had many friends whom she dearly loved. Ollie was a long standing member of Antioch Baptist Church, where she worked, supported and ran the kitchen committee for well over 50 years. She had a love of cooking and fed the multitudes. She was an active member of the WMU and loved her Sunday School Class. She has taught many the gift of giving and giving of themselves. She will be greatly missed.
Family will receive friends Thursday, July 13, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, VA 23231 where a funeral service will be held Friday, July 14, at 12 p.m.
Interment will follow at Washington Memorial Park.
