Obituary - Nell S. Street

Street, Nell S., 85, of Glen Allen, Virginia died peacefully on February 19, 2023. Born March 1, 1937, in Granville County, North Carolina. She is the daughter of the late John and Janie Saunders. She is preceded in death by her siblings, Rachel, Johnny, and Lillian. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 62 years, David; her children, Joel, Ben, and Michael, their spouses, three grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and many friends.

Nell retired as a nurse of 52 years. She was a member of North Run Baptist Church. The Family Will Receive Friends from 12 to 1 pm on Friday, February 24, 2023 at Bliley’s, 8510 Staples Mill Rd. A Funeral Service will follow at 1 pm.

Donations may be made in Nell’s memory to North Run Baptist Church’s Food Pantry or Media Center, or the Bon Secours Community Hospice House.
