Obituary - Milton Kermit Foster

Foster, Milton (Buck) Kermit, 87 of Richmond, Virginia fought the good fight and went to his beloved Vivian in heaven on February 3, 2022. They were high school sweethearts and loved to dance. They were married for over 68 years.

He was a true Southern gentleman with the best sense of humor. Buck retired after 42 years with Southern States Cooperative. He loved fishing, boating, golf, watching football; especially the Redskins.

Buck was preceded in death by his parents Hoyt and Ruth, his wife Vivian, three sisters Esther Roach, Marion Huffman, Doris Claybrook and four brothers John, Carlton, David, Bruce Foster.

He is survived by his children Gale (Kirk) Menzies, Kay (Mike) Chevalier, Milt (Dawn) Foster, 10 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren. He is survived by a sister Edith Pollard and a brother Keith (Liz) Foster. A special thanks to his caregivers Tiana Jefferson, Ashley Mealey, Krystle Spain, Reese Velazaques and Jarnee Ferguson.

A Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 10, 2022, 4PM-6PM at Woody Funeral Home, 1771 North Parham Road, Richmond, VA 23229. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 11, 2022, 1PM at Staples Mill Road Baptist Church, 10101 Staples Mill Road, Glen Allen, VA 23060. Interment will follow at Westhampton Memorial Cemetery, 10000 Patterson Avenue, Richmond, VA 23238.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Staples Mill Road Baptist Church Building Fund.
