Obituary - Mary Engard

Mary "Betsy" Engard, 77, of Henrico, VA passed away peacefully on November 15, 2023, with family by her side, listening to her jukebox and Hallmark Christmas movies playing on the TV.
Betsy was an avid collector of MOS santas, lighthouses and so much more. She served Henrico County for over 25 years with public school transportation in many capacities. This is where she met her beloved husband, Dale and her best friends, Phyllis and Rick Hayes. Her favorite times were spent traveling and playing games with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sheerin Dale Engard, and her parents, Nora and John Mill. She is survived by her children, Chad Brooks (Charity), Wendi Osborne (Dustin), and her grandchildren, Alexis Klemin (Ramon), Josie and Nico Jimenez, along with a long list of friends.
The family will receive family and friends on Sunday, November 19, from 2-4 pm at the West Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 11020 West Broad St., Glen Allen, VA 23060. The funeral ceremony will take place on Monday, November 20 at 11 am at the funeral home and a graveside ceremony will follow at 12:30pm in Riverview Cemetery in Richmond, VA.
