Obituary - Mary Anne Deane

Mary Anne “Bunkie” Deane, 68, of Henrico passed away on May 29, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Mary Deane and a nephew, William A Lynch Jr. and her beloved kitties. She is survived by her beloved husband, John Sullivan; sister, Carole Deane Strickland her closest cousin, Bic Kolcum along with many more cousins and nieces and nephews and her beloved caretakers Tiara Davis and family. Mary enjoyed spending time with her many friends, taking trips to the beach and river, and visiting folk artists. She was an educator for 30 years teaching preschool children with autism. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, June 17, 2023 at Bliley’s , 8510 Staples Mill Road, with a Celebration of Life service to follow. Memorial contributions can be made to Autism of Central VA and The Elephant Sanctuary of Tennessee.
