Marvin Eugene Bogar, Sr., 80, of Henrico, passed away on Monday, March 6, 2023.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hayselett and Chessie Bogar; two sons, Marvin, Jr. and Ronnie; brother, Garland; sister, Betty; and wives, Mary and Chris.
Marvin retired from Concrete Structures Inc. as a plant superintendent. He enjoyed hunting and fishing as well as being with family and friends.
Left to cherish his memory are his first wife, Joyce; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; stepdaughter, Tina; two sisters, Linda and Barbara; one brother, David; numerous nieces and nephews; and many extended relatives and friends including his caregiver, Josh.
The family will receive friends on Monday, March 13, 2023 from 1 to 2 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, VA 23231 where a service will immediately follow at 2 p.m. Interment will be in Washington Memorial Park.
