Obituary - Martha D. Presley

Martha D. Presley, 83, of Henrico, passed away January 26, 2022. She was the widow of Vern Presley. She is survived by her children, Beth Presley, Mark Presley (Michelle), Scott Presley, and Becky Steadman (Todd); her grandchildren, Kristin Presley (Jeremy), Sammi Presley, Brandon Presley (Katy), Dyllan Steadman, and Jessie Steadman; great granddaughter, Hayden; sisters, Gaye O’Quinn, Edith Sykes, Goldie Gilbert; brother, Glenn Deel; close friends, Frieda Walsh, Peggy Wilmoth, Kathy Steadman; and many wonderful neighbors and friends along with her church family at Berea Baptist Church. She was a member of the Huntington Garden Club and bowled on local senior bowling leagues. She enjoyed gardening, traveling and attending bluegrass shows. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 1 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the West Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 11020 West Broad Street. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 2 at 1:00 p.m. at Berea Baptist Church with interment following at Westhampton Memorial Park. Donations can be made in her memory to Berea Baptist Church.
