Marian B. Major, 76, of Highland Springs, passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2024.
She graduated from John Marshall High School and received an associate degree from J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College. She was a secretary for Henrico County Public Schools and for Home Beneficial Life Insurance Company and loved shopping, animals and her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Thelma Baseler and is survived by her husband, Lawrence Major and her son, Steven Major.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 13, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, VA 23231 where a funeral service will be held Wednesday, February 14, at 2 p.m.
Interment will follow in Washington Memorial Park.
