Obituary - Margaret Waldrop Robertson

Margaret Waldrop Robertson, entered Heaven's gates on August 11, 2022. She was predeceased by her husband, Wilson Robertson, her parents, Arthur and Violet Waldrop, her brothers, Arthur Waldrop Jr., Walter Waldrop, James Waldrop, and her sister, Jane W. Rice.

She is survived by her children, Woody Robertson (Debby), Winston Robertson (Carolyn), and Elizabeth R. Jones, her grandchildren, Dee (Mark) Bowles, Ryan( Stephanie) Robertson, Lisa (Matt) McGhan, Brandon(Jenny) Jones, Lindsey (Chris) Leavitt, Casey (Chris) Agee, Brett (Jen) Jones, Morgan (Tim) Rockovich, fifteen great grandchildren, five step grandchildren, ten step great grandchildren, a sister, Dorothy W. Bear, and countless cousins, nephews, and nieces.

Margaret was a charter member of Derbyshire Baptist Church. Margaret was much loved and appreciated for her witty sayings, sense of humor, competitive nature in all games, her cooking, crafts, love of family, hosting family potlucks, love of God, volunteering, and making caps to donate. She will be dearly missed.

The family will receive friends on , August 17, 2022 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.. and 6 p.m to 8 p.m at the Woody Funeral Home Parham, 1771 N Parham Road, and a Celebration of Life will be on August 18, 2022 at 1pm in the Chapel, Interment will be at Westhampton Memorial and Cremation Park, 10000 Patterson Ave, Henrico Va 23238.

The family would like to thank Sandy Williamson-Johnson, the staff at Legacy Hospice, Dr. James Bowles, and the staff at Morningside in the West End for their tender care and support for Margaret.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Fife Rescue Squad, Relay for Life Goochland, or Alzheimer's Association.
