Obituary - Margaret Theresa Hennessy

Margaret Theresa Hennessy, 82, of Henrico, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, December 4, 2024. She was born February 1, 1942, the last of seven children born to the late Michael Thomas and Jessie Leet Hennessy, she was also preceded in death by her brothers, Michael “Teensy”, William “Billy”, and James “Jimmy” Hennessy; and her sisters, Effie Decator, Mary Craven, and Jessie Grubbs. She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. Margaret was a devout Catholic. Her benevolence was such that she would give as much as she could to any charity she deemed needy. Services, with a period of visitation 1 hour prior, will be held 10 am Friday, December 13, 2024 at the Mechanicsville Chapel of the Bennett Funeral Home, 8014 Lee-Davis Road. Interment will follow in Signal Hill Memorial Park. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to St Joseph Catholic Church, 828 Buford Road, Richmond, VA 23235.
