Margaret was devoted to her faith and family. Her life’s journey was always guided by her unwavering faith as she looked to the Blessed Mother as a role model. She was a member of St. Mary’s Prayer Group and a Salesian (Society of St. Francis de Sales).

Margaret was multi-talented. She was a seamstress, having made many of her daughters’ special occasion dresses; a caregiver for her parents, Guy’s parents, and her husbands; a bus driver for St. Bridget’s School; a nurse at MCV’s Private Surgery Clinic and St. Joseph’s Home for the Aged/Little Sisters of the Poor; a cook famous for her mac n’ cheese, pound cakes, and Texas sheet cakes; a world traveler taking multiple USA cross country trips plus trips to Alaska, Hawaii, Bermuda, Caribbean, Portugal, Italy, Ireland, France, Japan, Hong Kong, and Yugoslavia; a shopper who loved Costco, the Williamsburg Pottery, the Pennsylvania outlet malls or any mall for that matter; and last, but not least, she had the gift of “gab”!

She lived in the Short Pump area for most of her life, and briefly in Florida. Mema treasured being at the “River” with her family. She loved baking, birds, butterflies, and the beaches of Buckroe, Virginia Beach, Nags Head and Siesta Key.
