Lindbergh “Lindy” Hill, 94, of Highland Springs, Va., passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2022. He was preceded in death by his son, Barry Hill.

Coach Hill was a valued Administrator at the Sandston Pool for more than 50 years. He was the head coach of the Highland Springs football team and an active member of the Touchdown Club. Lindy was a proud teacher of Government at Tucker High School before becoming an Assistant Principle. He is also a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Lindy was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He was a good man and will be greatly missed, but his legacy of hard work and dedication will live on in those who were lucky enough to know him.

Lindy is survived by his wife, June Hill; daughter, Lynn Hill; granddaughter, Lauren Hill; great-granddaughter, Esmeralda June Pfab; grandson-in-law, Anthony Pfab; and a host of other relatives and close friends.

A public visitation will be held Thursday, July 21 from 3 to 7 p.m. at Nelsen Richmond, 4650 South Laburnum Avenue, Richmond, Va. 23231. A graveside service on Friday, July 22 at 1 p.m. at Washington Memorial Park, 6217 Memorial Dr., Sandston, Va. 23150.
