Obituary - Linda Cook Satterwhite

Linda Cook Satterwhite, 73, of Varina, went to be with her lord on Tuesday, November 15, 2022.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Amy Louise Satterwhite; parents, John and Juanita Cook; brothers, Danny and Ronnie Cook; half-sisters, Pat Cox, Darlene Cook; and brother-in-law, William Fridley.

Linda retired as a supervisor with Lucent Technologies (formerly AT&T). She dedicated her life to helping animals in need. She enjoyed thrift shopping and antiquing. Linda also loved to cook both with and for her family. She was known for her green thumb and her beautiful flower gardens.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Kimberley Satterwhite Mayne (Darren); grandsons, Britt William Rogers, Jon Darcy Rogers (Hayley), Ryan Christopher Beggs; great grandson, Jordan Lance Rogers; siblings, Brenda Stanley, Elizabeth Vincent, Arnold Cook, Denzil Cook, Roger Cook, Susan Fridley, Jerry Cook, Alice Quinto, Ella Louise Price; half-brothers, Paul Cook and Johnny Cook; her many fur babies; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, November 25, 2022 in Washington Memorial Park, 6217 Memorial Dr., Sandston, Va. 23150.
