Koren Ullman Satterfield, 53, of Glen Allen, VA, passed away peacefully while surrounded by family on March 19, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Lydia Ullman.
She is survived by her daughters, Delany Michelle Satterfield and Katherine Summer Satterfield; grandson, Camden James Satterfield; sisters, Lynn Cornett, Dee Griffin (Tucker), Missy Loving (Bill); two step sisters Jackie Terwilleger (Paul), Eleanor Ryan; nephews and nieces, Mike, Matthew, (Robin), Jennifer, TJ, Grant, and Rachael. Also surviving is father of her daughters, David Satterfield; and sister-in-law, Robin Satterfield.
Koren loved to spend her days with family, friends, and dog, Piper. She loved dancing to Flat Elvis, walks, workouts at Burn Boot Camp, and trips to the beach.
The family would like to extend a huge thank you to the staff at Bon Secours St. Mary’s hospital, Bon Secours Hospice, and all of her wonderful medical team, for their care, love, and support. Another big thank you to all of her family and friends, and her team at Dominion Payroll, for their continuous love and support.
The family will have visitation on Friday, March 31, from 2-4pm and 5-7pm, Woody Funeral Home Parham Road Chapel. A memorial service will be held at 11am on Saturday, April 1, Woody Funeral Home Parham Road Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society to aid research on sinus cancer.
