Obituary - Kathy Hogge Garris-Burch

Kathy Hogge Garris-Burch, 63, of Sandston, VA passed peacefully at home on Sunday, April 20, 2025. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Sheila Hogge; her brother, John “Herbie” Hogge; her sister, Melody Brooks; and her stepson, Bradley Burch. Kathy is survived by her children, Kristen Taylor, Kasey Burch, and Kevin Burch Jr; her God-daughter, Lindsey King; family and wonderful friends.

Kathy adored her children, her animals, the outdoors, and the Lord. She found the good in every person and everything. She was kind beyond measure. The world will never be the same without her, but heaven gained such a beautiful angel. She had a long battle with cancer, but she is suffering no more.

A funeral service is open to family and friends at Affinity Funeral Service – Mechanicsville Chapel on Friday, April 25, 2025. A viewing will begin at 1:00 p.m. followed by a funeral service a 2:00 p.m. at Affinity Funeral Service, 8074 Mechanicsville Turnpike, Mechanicsville, VA 23111. Interment will be private.
