Juanita Marie "Nita/Nene" Jennings, 90, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 7, 2022.
She was born Saturday, September 5, 1931 in Richmond Virginia to the late Alfred N. Jennings and Effie Newcomb Jenkins. She was preceded in death by her Sister Florence Harrison, Brother Leroy Buster Clark, and Nephew Emory Harrison Jr. She is survived by her Niece Rebecca Wilford, Great Nieces and Nephews Ray, Lynn, Harrison, Jared, Helen, Julia and Samantha all of North Carolina. She will also be greatly missed by the Hancock and Clarke families Bailey, Connor, Daniel, Lexi, Keith, Michael and Patsy.
She grew up in the City of Richmond living on Pine St., Main St., Allen Ave., and Ellwood Ave. before moving to Henrico County in 1999. She dedicated her life to the care of her mother. She was loved by many for her kindness, wit and love of children. Our many thanks to the Beth Sholom Unit 4 team and Trinity Hospice for her last 46 days of care. Services will be held Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at 1 p.m. at Bliley’s - 3801 Augusta Ave., Richmond, Va.
