Joyce Ann Murphy, 83, of Highland Springs, went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, February 28, 2024.
Joyce was a loving mother of six children.
Joyce played cards and loved to tell jokes and took long walks. She enjoyed going out to eat with her family.
Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Murphy, Sr., parents, Leon and Virginia Lubold and sister, Sandra Hailey.
Left to cherish her memory is her sister, June Piercy and her brother, Leon Lubold, Jr. and her four sons, Kent, Robert Jr., David and Johnny Murphy, and her two daughters, Linda Murphy and Wanda Hinson, and her granddaughter, Ashlee Hinson; great – grandchild, Haiden Hinson.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 6 from 1 p.m. until service time at 3 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave, Richmond, VA. 23231.
