John “Johnny” P. Ladd, Jr., 66, of Highland Springs, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 5, 2022. Johnny was preceded in death by his father, John Ladd Sr.; and his brother, Timmy Ladd. Johnny is survived by his mother, Carolyn Ladd; brother, Rick Ladd; many nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Molly.
Johnny spent 39 years working with Sydnor Hydro, Inc. In Johnny’s free time he enjoyed bowling, golfing, gardening, and cutting up with his friends.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 8, 2022 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231. A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 9, 2022 at 10 a.m. at Fort Lee Baptist Church, 2727 Charles City Rd., Richmond, Va. 23231. Interment will follow in Washington Memorial Park.
