Janice Sue Craft, 81 of Richmond, Va passed away peacefully at home Friday, November 10, 2023 after her courageous battle with Dementia.

Following graduation from Appalachia High school in 1960, she set off to Washington DC in search of a career. Once in Richmond, Janice found her niche in the stock brokerage business. The majority of her professional career was with the Scott and Stringfellow Firm for 25+ years as a client service associate. In addition to her full time job, Janice served as a tax preparer at H&R Block for several years.

Married in 1966, she became a mother to two daughters, Brooke, born October 1975, followed by Tasha in January 1976. Janice raised her children and resided in Henrico County for approximately 42 years. Once remarried in 2008 to Ed Humpage, the couple moved to Mechanicsville, Va where she became a Nana to three granddaughters.

Following retirement in 2012, Janice enjoyed traveling and spending time with friends and family. She was a wonderful hostess, excellent cook and possessed an amazing green thumb, just like her mother.

Janice was preceded in death by her mother and father, Estelle and Wence Craft, Sr. of Appalachia, Va. Janice is survived by her daughters Brooke Bobrosky and Tasha Bobrosky, husband Edward Humpage, siblings Doris Ball, Roy Craft, Gloria Griffin, Ray Craft, Sandra Sears, Wence Craft, Jr., Gary Craft, Judy Fore, and multiple nieces and nephews.

A memorial service for Janice will be held Sunday, November 19, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Woody Funeral Home-Parham, 1771 North Parham Road, Richmond, VA 23229. A reception will occur Sunday, November 19, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, 1771 North Parham Road, Richmond, VA 23229. A visitation will occur Sunday, November 19, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 1771 North Parham Road, Richmond, VA 23229. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The American Cancer Society.
