Janet Ford Phifer, 83, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday morning, April 7, 2024.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul B. Phifer, Jr. Janet is survived by her children, Barbara P. Phillips (Jimmy) and Paul "Trey" B. Phifer, III (Alison); brother, Thomas W. Ford (Judy); grandchildren, Jessica Jenkins, Shawn Phifer (Trina), Tommy Jenkins (Kelsey), Whitney Phifer; and 3 great-grandchildren, Kayla Phifer, Luna Jenkins, and Langston Phifer.
She was a longtime member of Lakeside Methodist Church and the American Legion Auxiliary 175.
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, April 17th, at Bliley's - Staples Mill from 6pm - 8pm. Janet will be laid to rest at a graveside service at 11am on Thursday, April 18th, at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Her greatest joy was to be with her family. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
