Obituary - James Spencer Wickham Sr.

James “Jim” Spencer Wickham, Sr., passed away peacefully on January 16, 2022, at the age of 85.
He was a mechanical draftsman and owned his own HVAC business, but his favorite job was a school bus driver for Henrico County.
He was preceded in death by wives, Beulah Harris and Doris Mae Wickham; and daughter, Karen Mae Hyman. He is survived by his wife, Sylvia May Johnson Wickham; children, James Spencer Wickham Jr. (Melodie), Merrie W. Cosby (Erich), Carol W. Adams (John), Robin W. Bass (Kevin) and Ann Michelle Bailey (Michael); 26 grandchildren and 47 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 23, 2022, from 3 to 5 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Avenue, Richmond, Va. and a graveside service will be held on Monday, January 24, 2022 at 1 p.m. at Signal Hill Cemetery, 12360 Hanover Courthouse Road, Hanover, Va.
