Howard Worthington Braxton, 77, of Henrico, passed away on December 2, 2021.

His pseudonyms included "Mr. Henrico" because of his devotion to his career and "Donald Duck" because he loved to talk like Donald Duck to all children he encountered! He was a retired Traffic Signal Technician Supervisor for Henrico County's Public Works department. Howard was a member of Four Mile Creek Baptist Church, where he co-taught in the two and three-year-old Sunday school class.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Ann Finch Braxton, and sister Carol Braxton Singh. Howard is survived by his sons, Jim Lisbon (Penny), Tim Braxton (Laurie), and Stephen Braxton (Michelle); grandchildren, Brandon Lisbon, Logan Braxton, Collin Braxton, Henry Braxton, Gracie Louise Braxton, and Evie Braxton; brother, William Rhoades (Sandy); and sister Helen Elise Hamlett.

On Wednesday, December 15th, the family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, VA 23231. On Thursday, December 16th, a funeral service will be held at Four Mile Creek Baptist Church, 2950 New Market Road, Henrico, VA 23231 at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Washington Memorial Park.
