Obituary - Gladys Dudley King

Gladys Dudley King, 94, of Henrico, went to be with the Lord December 8, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Mason Henley and James King; and her daughter, Scarlett Browning. She is survived by her children, Jesse Henley (Nancy), Faye Hogue (E.W.) and Angela Carneal (David); 13 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; three sisters, Doris Whitfield, Annie Belle Gordon and Geraldine Dailey (Emile); and numerous loving extended family members. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the West Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 11020 W. Broad St. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 14 at Shady Grove United Methodist Church, 4825 Pouncey Tract Road Glen Allen, Va. 23059. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Shady Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund.
