Obituary - Frederick P. Taylor

Fred was born and raised in Henrico County. He fulfilled his lifelong dream of becoming a firefighter in 1973. He served with the Henrico County Division of Fire for 25 years. After retiring in 1999, Fred mentored individuals with the same desire to pursue a career in firefighting through the Henrico Fire Explorer Program.
Fred was a loving grandfather and he cherished every second spent with his grandchildren. A public visitation for Frederick will be held Wednesday, January 12, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Woody Funeral Home - Parham, 1771 North Parham Road, Richmond, VA 23229. A funeral service will occur Thursday, January 13, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, 1771 North Parham Road, Richmond, VA 23229. A committal service will occur Thursday, January 13, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Westhampton Memorial & Cremation Park, 10000 Patterson Avenue, Richmond, VA 23238.
