Frank Wilson Kirby, 93, of Henrico, passed away on April 15, 2025, in his home surrounded by family and friends. He is survived by his devoted wife of 55 years, Barbara Kirby; his children, Sandy English, Frank Kirby Jr. (Tammy), Amy Tew (Gary), and TJ Kirby; and his grandchildren, Blair English (Kara), Grayson Kirby, Emily Tenney (Brandon), Kasey Kirby, and Jaidyn Kirby.
Frank worked for Universal Leaf Tobacco Company for 36 years, starting out in the tobacco fields and becoming the Purchasing Agent. He enjoyed playing golf and card games, telling jokes, watching baseball, football, and basketball games, and taking many trips with his friends and family. Frank was a founding member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church and enjoyed serving with the Knights of Columbus as well.
The family will receive visitors from 9 to 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Glen Allen, VA. The funeral will follow at 10 a.m., and the body will be interred in the church columbarium.
